Two Lives in Two Nights . . . Wow

Tonight’s video was a really quick/short one to finish up the coffee cup I should have finished last night. The internet held up a bit better tonight, but that could partly be because of the briefness of the video.

Moving forward, I hope to have things a bit more organized, but there is really nothing I can do about my internet connection. I’ll just have to play that by ear. I’m really happy to be making lives again. If the live situation continues to give me trouble I can always resort to filming the crafts and simply uploading them. I prefer lives because it shows the imperfection that crafting often is. So many times people see or buy crafts and marvel at how ‘perfect’ the object is. The fact is, I’ve never made a perfect craft and so I doubt I’ve ever bought one. If I have to resort to filming, I’ll be tempted to edit and lose the imperfection of it all.

Another thing I’m trying to figure out is my lighting. I really don’t want to break out the studio lighting. I thought tonight was a bit better than last night, but I’ll let you all be the judge of that. The crafting part did go much smoother tonight. The final

project turned out good. I’ve stared at this image and tried to figure out if it is indeed even. I measured with a ruler and it seems to be, so maybe it’s a bit of an illusion. Because of the way the cup curves, I’m wondering if the words curve up just a bit. There we go again, talking about perfection.

Ok, until next week? (Maybe sooner)
